SURI BURST INTO TEARS AT BEYONCE CONCERT

Katie Holmes' daughter burst into tears at a Beyonce Knowles concert on Tuesday night (September 15, 2009).

Three-year-old Suri Cruise - Katie's daughter with husband Tom Cruise - was initially thrilled as she sat with her mother behind velvet ropes in the general admission section of the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

But when Beyonce took to the stage to perform her hit "Crazy In Love," Suri started crying, hiding her face in Katie's coat to escape the bright lights and noise.

As soon as the number was over, Katie and Suri hurried out of the stadium, returning 15 minutes later with a pair of industrial ear-muffs for the toddler.

A source said: "We were all a bit shocked when they left after the first song, but they were back before long, with Suri wearing a huge pair of earmuffs."

"She was much happier after that, and clapped and danced to the rest of the concert."

Katie, Tom and Suri have been living in Australia for the past two-and-a-half months while Katie films new horror movie "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark."

They are expected to return to New York this weekend.

BEYONCE TO COVER UP FOR MALAYSIAN CONCERT

Beyonce Knowles has vowed to wear ''appropriate'' clothing for her controversial show in Malaysia.

The "Crazy in Love" singer's scheduled concert in the country's capital Kuala Lumpur on October 25 has been met with anger by Islamic extremists, who claim her sexy outfits and provocative stage routines are "immoral" and will corrupt young people.

But the 28-year-old star – who had to pull out of a concert in the country two years ago after the same group, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, threatened to protest at the show – has agreed to tone down her performance, meaning the concert can go ahead.

Show organizers Marctensia said all parties had reached an "amicable understanding."

A spokesperson for the entertainment company added: "We are confident that the concert will once and for all silence international critics and put Malaysia back on track... in presenting A-list international pop concerts in this region."

In August 2007, Gwen Stefani was told to cover up for her Malaysian concert. The flamboyant star wore "sober" outfits but called it a "major sacrifice."

She put jackets over her tops and leotards underneath her skirts and dresses, to conform to the guidelines for the show.

BEYONCE THROWS LILO OUT OF HER OWN DRESSING ROOM

Beyonce Knowles reportedly had Lindsay Lohan thrown out of her own dressing room because the singer wanted it for herself.

The former Destiny's Child star was performing at the F1 Rocks concert in Singapore over the weekend and had ordered her entourage to get her the largest dressing area backstage.

However, Lindsay – who was hosting the event for British TV network Channel 4 – had already claimed the room for herself as she arrived before and was left upset when she was told she would have to vacate it.

The "Mean Girls" actress told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I've been a bit down. It was a strange night. Everyone was being aggressive and bothering me. I really didn't like it."

In the lead up to her performance, Beyonce made her support acts sweat as she wouldn't allow them to use her air conditioning.

Although temperatures backstage approached 90 degrees and people were passing out, Beyonce's entourage refused to switch on her personal air cooling fans as they were just for her.

British DJ Seb Fontaine – who suffered heatstroke – told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "We were told, 'No they are Beyonce's fans.' I wasn't asking to play her drum kit on stage. I just wanted to keep cool."

In her 139-page rider, Beyonce also demanded six beauty chambers, fitness equipment, an authentic fruit platter and tea and honey.

Other acts to perform at the event – which took place at Fort Canning Park - included Black Eyed Peas and Gwen Stefani.

BEYONCE'S DAD FACES PATERNITY QUIZ

Alexsandra Wright, thought to be in her late 30s, has filed a paternity case against Mathew Knowles at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

According to website TMZ.com, she is six months pregnant and claims Mathew is the father of the unborn baby.

Mathew has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980. They have two children together, Beyonce, 27, and 23-year-old Solange.

Mathew manages both of his daughters and has also moved into film, executive producing Beyonce's 2009 thriller "Obsessed."

He also has his own record label, Music World Entertainment, which represents Beyonce, Solange and former Destiny's Child singers Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

Mathew recently praised his eldest daughter for "reaching out" to country music star Taylor Swift after Kanye West embarrassed the teenager onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards.

He said: "I can only say it was a proud night for me as a manager, but more importantly as a father. I've always said the thing that makes me most proud about Beyonce is not how many records she's sold or how many plaques she has or how many awards; it's that she's a genuine, good person."

"I know it's hard for people to believe that she can really be that nice of a person, but she really is."
